Did you know that “Hirono” was inspired by Mr. LANG himself? In the past, Mr. LANG was born in Henan and moved to Beijing with his family in pursuit of a better quality of life amidst financial struggles. However, it was filled with many hardships and sorrows during his adulthood.

Because of this, the story of that time is always told through Hirono or the sad boy. Mr. LANG also thinks that bright people always get attention. Thus, Hirono symbolizes sadness because no matter how you feel, personal growth continues even if no one pays attention at all.
